Mentoring Program

The University of Mississippi Students Affairs (UMSA) Mentoring Program

The UMSA Mentoring Program exists to link new Student Affairs professionals (3 years or less experience) with more experienced Student Affairs employees in a mutually beneficial learning situation that fosters professional growth for both the mentor and the mentee. The mentor acts as an informal coach or tutor of the mentee and helps the mentee to both set and work toward meeting specific goals. Mentees are new professionals who desire to expand their network, knowledge, and skills.
