Important Information Regarding Degree Audit

Degree Audit
Graduation requirements which have been met have a green square next to them. Those which have NOT been met have a red circle next to them.

The Degree Audit application, which was launched in May 2008, is available to all University undergraduate students and provides a way for students to view their progress toward fulfillment of degree requirements.  It can also be used if a student is contemplating changing majors or adding a minor by allowing the student to run a simulation in Degree Audit to see what requirements must be completed or how close the student may be to achieving the new major or minor.

Although Degree Audit can be a useful tool for students, it does not replace the graduation application process nor the advising process.  Students will still need to contact the Dean's Office for detailed instructions concerning the degree application process.

Degree Audit
Graduation requirements involving GPAs will automatically be flagged red. These requirements must be checked manually by the Dean's Office.

To use Degree Audit as a student, go to http://www.olemiss.edu/degreeaudit. You will be prompted to log in using your myOleMiss user name and password. (Alternatively, log in to myOleMiss and choose the Student role and the Degree Audit menu.)

The Degree Audit application uses major and minor information stored in SAP Campus Management to determine whether degree requirements have been met. To declare a major or minor or to make changes to existing major and minor information, visit the Office of the Dean.

The University Catalog remains the official reference for determining graduation requirements. Please note that not all older catalogs have been entered in the computer system for use by Degree Audit.
