First MFA Alum Publishes Two Books

Louis Bourgeois, the first alum of UM's MFA in Creative Writing program, has published two books of his work, Olga and The Gar Diaries. His poem, "A Voice From the City" was selected for the acclaimed poetry anthology, The Best American Poetry. To hear Bourgeois read "A Voice from The City" and two additional poems, click below:
