Dr. John Neff, Associate Professor of History, received the 2009 Elsie M. Hood Outstanding Teacher of the Year award and the 2009 UM Humanities Teacher of the Year award. Read more.

2009 Cora Lee Graham Award for Outstanding Teacher of Freshmen

Chemistry professor Greg Tschumper believed “hard” teachers like him did not win awards, especially if it was based on student nominations.  But despite his doubts, Dr. Tschumper won the 2009 Cora Lee Graham Award for Outstanding Teaching of Freshmen. Read more.
