Course Recommendations and Descriptions for Liberal Arts Lower-Division Degree Requirements

Academic advising and priority registration for the summer and fall will be available in a couple of weeks.  As students plan their schedules with their advisors, they need to keep in mind how the courses they choose will satisfy Liberal Arts lower-division requirements.

“Which courses are considered fine arts for the BA degree?”

“Will Latin classes satisfy the language requirement?”

“Do any 100-level courses other than U.S. history and western civilization satisfy the history requirement?”

Students often have questions such as these.  To help students choose courses wisely, the College has posted recommended courses with detailed course descriptions for both the B.A. and B.S. degrees on its website.  This information is available under the Advising Information section, and it can be accessed directly using the following links.
