Nominate Your Advisor for an Award
There are two university-wide advising awards given each year, one for faculty advisors and one for professional staff advisors. The first faculty advisor award was received by Cy Rosenblatt in the Department of Political Science last spring. If your advising experience has been particularly rewarding, then let the College and University know about your excellent advisor. The attached form and information sheet provides examples of qualities/practices of effective advising to assist you in writing the letter of recommendation. More persuasive letters of recommendation provide specific instances or situations that exemplify how your advisor has been particularly helpful.
We want to hear about the excellent advisors from across the College of Liberal Arts!
