1746

[News] A French officer and two traders are killed by the Choctaw. The French demand retribution, but to prevent a blood feud among their people, the Choctaw choose to kill English traders instead. As a result, Choctaw allied with the British attack French settlements, which in turn escalates French demands for retribution. The end result is a civil war of Choctaw against Choctaw when the pro-English war chief Red Shoe is killed.
