University officials said to brace for an historic announcement before week's end, but most wouldn't say that it would ring to the tune of a university-record $100 million donation.

James and Sally Barksdale could be the biggest givers in Mississippi's history.

An anonymous source said Tuesday that they're the ones giving a record $100 million donation to Ole Miss. University administrators are planning to announce the gift in Jackson on Thursday.

Fletcher Center helping children cope with grief

When now-licensed counselor Kathy Woodliff lost her mother at age eight, she realized first hand the suffering that children undergo after the loss of a loved one. When Ole Miss student McClean Fletcher lost her life in an auto accident three years ago, she left behind a legacy of warmth and devotion to children that those who knew her admired and respected.
