Kappa Sigs suspended for auction

The university has suspended the Kappa Sigma fraternity for violating the school's alcohol policy at a Nov. 17 pledge auction that sent five female students to a local hospital.

Last night, the second annual Shades of Essence pageant was held in the Building of Education's auditorium. The seven contestants were Lenetra Clark, Deloris Hopkins, Erica Davis, Michelle Johnson, Deborah King, Regina Pitts, and Alexandria Taylor.
