Kentucky at Ole Miss -- Looks like a shootout. The Rebs will have trouble with the Cats' passing attack, and the Cats will have trouble with Ole Miss' balance. Romaro Miller will have a breakout game, and the Rebs will control the line of scrimmage. Rebs 42, Cats 38.
South Carolina at Alabama -- The Cocks make their first road trip, and the Tide will bring them down a notch. Bama can't be terrible forever, and Tuscaloosa isn't Columbia. Tide 24, Cocks 17.
Georgia at Arkansas -- Arkansas is good at home, but they'll lose this one. The Dawgs finally get a quality win this year. Dawgs 26, Hogs 21.
Vanderbilt at Auburn -- The Tigers extend their West lead. Vandy doesn't have the defense to stop Auburn's balance, and the Dores are outmatched talent-wise. Tigers 28, Dores 14.
Florida at Mississippi State -- The Gators deliver a knockout dose of reality to the grossly unrealistic Bulldog expectations of repeating their 10-win season. If I never hear "Who Let Them Dogs Out?" again, I'll be a happy man. Gators 31, Bulldogs 14.
Tennessee at LSU -- The Vols are no UAB. If the Tigers couldn't handle the Blazers, look out Saturday. It could get ugly. Vols 38, Tigers 17.
Wisconsin at Michigan -- The Badgers finally have all their players back, but they won't get the job done in Ann Arbor. Wolverines 24, Badgers 17.
Washington at Oregon -- The Ducks are tough at home, as evidenced by their thrashing of UCLA. The Huskies are a good team, but will lose a close one. Ducks 24, Huskies 21.
Memphis at Southern Miss -- The Golden Eagles came out of their road trip in good shape. The Tigers are in trouble in Hattiesburg. Almost 18,000 USM fans pack their giant stadium to see a whipping. Eagles 24, Tigers 7.
Oklahoma St. at Texas -- The Longhorns won't have much trouble with a team that got killed by USM at home. Longhorns 31, Cowboys 14.
Georgia Tech at North Carolina -- For the second week in a row, the Techsters get beat by a team from the Tarheel state. Tarheels 24, Tech 17.
Kansas St. at Colorado -- The Wildcats take their ridicuously high-scoring show to Boulder, where they'll have a hard time putting up the 50-something points they're used to. Wildcats 34, Buffs 24.
Joey's record stands at 36-12
