Robert Shelton dives for home plate in the Rebels home opener victory against Austin Peay. The Rebels won the game 8-5. Ole Miss returns to the friendly confines for a home stand this week with showdowns against Southeast Missouri State and South Alabama.

After a disappointing showing in the Winn Dixie Showdown, the Rebel baseball team has a chance to get back on the winning side of things with a two game series against Southeast Missouri State (SEMO). The series begins today at 5 p.m. at Oxford-University Stadium.

Ole Miss came out of this weekend's tournament with a 1-2 performance after falling to Tulane and LSU. The Rebel's sole win of the tournament came over New Orleans.

Lady Rebel rifle team targeting in on future goals

Did you know that Ole Miss has a rifle team? Also, did you know that they are one of only two SEC schools to have a rifle team?

If you said no to one of the two questions, then you probably did not know that the Lady Rebels finished ninth in the NCAA Collegiate Sectional on Feb. 14.

Questions still remain for NBA with shortened season

The NBA is now into the lockout-shortened season and it is clear that things are going to be a little different this year. While some teams and especially some players have come out of the blocks in midseason form, others are still trying to get it together. The games themselves have been a bit sloppy, but after another week most of the teams should be back in the groove.
