UM exercise science program loses Kravitz

After 3 years of directing the Exercise Science Program at Ole Miss, Graduate Coordinator Dr. Len Kravitz is leaving Ole Miss. Though still making the final arrangements for his new home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dr. Kravitz has been hired as Program Driector of Exercise Science at the University of New Mexico.

Dr. Kravitz earned his Ph.D in health promotion and exercise science from the Unviersity of New Mexico and feels like he is now closing a "full loop."

SAKS to grant teachers fellowship to attend July Faulkner conference

Thirty high school teachers chosen from applicants in five Southern states will attend The University of Mississippi's annual Faulkner and Yoknapatawpha Conference July 25-30 without cost, thanks to fellowships being awarded for the first time this year.
