Blackburn, Brewer, Gaddis elected to Homecoming court

Around 10:40 Thursday night, a crowd in front of the Union stairs erupted with screams from supporters for new Homecoming Queen Hilary Gaddis, Miss Ole Miss Missy Brewer and Colonel Reb David Blackburn.

'Apollo' provides night of fun for all

Rushees weren't the only ones rushing Thursday night. Many students hastily made their way to Fulton Chapel for Apollo Night at 7 p.m., which provided guests with fun and entertainment.

Ole Miss students participate with Very Special Arts Festival

Several Ole Miss students were among the volunteers at the Very Special Arts Festival Thursday at the North Mississippi Regional Center (NMRC).

University daycare planning expansion

If you are a parent who would like your 3- or 4-year-old child to attend the Willie Price University Nursery School on campus, get in line. The waiting list for children to attend the nursery school is so long that plans are underway to expand the center.

ROTC gearing up for 'Head-to-Head' competition

ROTC Cadets will compete in Head to Head this weekend. Cadets had pre-combat inspections Thursday, in which cadets practiced on the areas of the upcoming events and prepared their equipment. Competition will begin today and go through tomorrow.
