NOW president to bring message on feminism

Patricia Ireland, president of the National Organization for Women (NOW), is bringing an international message to Ole Miss on Wednesday.

Ireland will address feminism at 8 p.m. in the education auditorium.

Busy week filled with student activities

A male beauty review, heavy contact sports, tapping into the sixth sense and plenty of opportunities to just hang out and enjoy Ole Miss are planned this week as part of the 1999 Homecoming activities.

Election violations brought to cabinet

In the Associated Student Body Cabinet meeting yesterday, elections co-commissioner Susan Keith reported that fines totaling $1,300 were assessed against candidates for violations in the recent Homecoming elections. She said one fine has been appealed.

BSU sponsoring 'Lunch with Cutcliffe' Fund-raiser for students

You may have noticed the posters on campus offering "your chance to have lunch with Coach Cutcliffe." They are part of an effort to help raise money for an Ole Miss student trying to pay for a liver-kidney transplant.
