Freshmen dorms may be eliminated

Housing working on new policies for returning students

Entering freshmen may not have dorms devoted soley to them in the fall.

Her parade washed out, Secretary still enjoys visit to Ole Miss campus

It may have rained on her parade, but Donna Shalala, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, said she enjoyed her weekend at Ole Miss.

Shalala was supposed to have been Grand Marshal of the Homecoming parade, which was cancelled due to wet weather.

Omani judiciary officials visit Oxford

Six Omani judiciary officials, accompanied by two interpreters, visited Oxford this weekend as part of a 10-day tour of the American judicial system.
