Former Ole Miss head football coach Billy Brewer leaves the Lafeyette county with his former secretary Lisa Whitehead Monday afternoon. Brewer was suing the university for damages after he was fired in 1994 following alleged NCAA infractions.

Brewer wins breach of contract suit

Former football coach awarded $221,355 by jury

After less than an hour of deliberation, the jury in the Billy Brewer breach-of-contract trial awarded Brewer $221,355 in damages.

The verdict came with a 10-2 vote in favor of Brewer.

Hazing, diversity brought up by national fraternity director

What exactly does hazing accomplish? Nothing, according to Dave Westol, the National Director of Theta Chi Fraternity.

Westol presented "Hazing on Trial", a discussion of the problems of hazing and how to solve them, to about 800 students at Fulton Chapel Tuesday night.

Wallace interviewing for job at Tennessee

Thomas Wallace will interview today and Thursday at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville for a permanent position comparable to his current job as acting vice chancellor for student life.
