The Faculty Technology Development Center has developed a screen saver showing campus scenes. You may install this on your PC and then share it with your friends and colleagues. If you need technical help in installing the University of Mississippi screen saver for Windows, call Penny Rice at 662-915-7918.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download the screen saver.
   
   
2. Save the file to the desktop. You will need some type of unzipping program such as WinZip in order to unzip this file.
   
   
3. Once you have unzipped the file, run the umss.exe program by double-clicking on it.
   
   
4. Click continue.
   
   
5. Click continue again to install in the default C:\UMSS directory.
   
   
6. Once the program has installed, click Exit and then click O.K.

Your screen saver has now been successfully installed. To activate it, do the following.

1. Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties.
   
   
2. Click the Screen Saver tab at the top of the display properties window.
   
   
3. Click the down arrow and choose Umscreensaver.
   
   
4. Click O.K. to apply changes.
