Edwin Smith covers the William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation, Student Disability Services and special assignments. Formerly the director of public relations at Rust College, Edwin graduated from UM with a B.A. in 1980 and a M.A. in 1993, both in print journalism. He has worked in the newsrooms of The Grenada Daily Star and The Tulsa World, and was managing editor of Rejoice!: The Gospel Music Magazine. Edwin also taught journalism and advertising at Oral Roberts University.
