The Mississippi School Plant Management Association

The Mississippi School Plant Management Association (M.S.P.M.A.) is dedicated to the exchange of information and Ideas among school districts, community colleges and universities. All school districts are eligible members of the M.S.P.M.A. Each of us In the educational facility arena are faced with major Issues regarding the funding and delivery of school buildings. The Mississippi School Plant Managers Association offers you the opportunity to meet with your colleagues from other districts and to share and learn with them, along with hearing presentations from some of the finest practitioners in the country. Through an annual conference each year and regional seminars conducted throughout the state, M.S.P.M.A. attempts to provide you with affordable and accessible information that will help you to make your facility operation the best it can be!

The annual conference held each year in Jackson Mississippi features seminar speakers on various topics including custodial care, roofing issues, hazardous materials, heating and cooling, energy management, safety,landscaping, and staff motivation. These speakers coupled with up to 50 vendor representatives insure your staff of having the best possible exposure at an unbelievably low cost.

In addition to the annual conference, the association attempts to have one day mini-conferences at convenient and accessible locations through out the state. Past conferences have focused on safety, grounds maintenance, and custodial services. These mini-conferences, held in Oxford, Hattisburg, Grenada, and Ellisville are a direct response to membership information requests.

Membership in the Mississippi School Plant Management Association is open to any person employed by a Mississippi school district, community colleges, or university. Annual dues which entitle members to attend any conference without a registration fee are $5.00.
