FISHERIES MANAGEMENT

Fisheries management in the U.S. is a complicated interplay of science, law and policy.  Numerous state and federal laws and regulations and international treaties govern how fisheries resources are harvested and utilized.  The National Sea Grant Law Center strives to improve the Sea Grant community's understanding of the regulatory framework of fisheries management through applied legal research, publications and presentations.
