At Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grants, Niki provides research on ocean and coastal law issues to Sea Grants constituents in the Gulf of Mexico and other agencies. In addition to her research with Sea Grants, Niki supervises law student research and writing projects and serves as editor of Water Log.
Prior to joining Sea Grants, Niki practiced in the areas of toxic tort litigation and environmental compliance. Niki holds a B.S. in geology with certificate in environmental planning and policy from the University of Southern Mississippi and a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she served as an associate editor of Animal Law Journal. In 2008, Niki received her LL.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School.
