Ms. Roberson
maintains the Web pages for Sea Grant at the University of Mississippi.
She is also responsible for the design, layout and production
of The
SandBar, The Water
Log, and the Sea
Grant Law & Policy Digest, as well as all
other print and published materials of both the Mississippi-Alabama
Sea Grant Legal Program and the National Sea Grant Law Center.
She's a
native of Millington, Tennessee, but her family roots are in
Mississippi and she's lived most of her life here.
Before coming
here, Roberson was the art director for Pizza Marketing Quarterly
magazine; prior to that, she owned her own business and did
ad layout and design at The Oxford EAGLE. During her 9 years
at the EAGLE, she received multiple awards from the Mississippi
Press Association for her ad designs.
Roberson's
previous work background is varied and includes freelancing
magazine articles, doing layout, editing and writing for a national
cattle breeder's magazine, raising purebred cattle, working
on a paddlewheeler and a stint as a secretary in the medical
field.
