Greetings Sorors and friends,
I bid you greetings from the Theta Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, located on the beautiful campus of the University of Mississippi.
As one of numerous chapters comprising our premier sorority, the Theta Psi Chapter has been at the forefront of enriching the lives of the citizens of the Oxford-Lafayette area since its chartering in 1974, hailing the honor of becoming the first black sorority on the Oxford campus of the University of Mississippi. Daily, we seek new and progressive ways to improve the health, education, and socio-economic disparities of our beloved community. We dedicate ourselves to developing programs to raise awareness and advocate issues that affect people on both local and global arenas. We are committed to fulfilling the service initiatives our founders avowed this interminable sisterhood to accomplish. All we do, every one of our talents, and each resource within our reach is invested in advancing our fundamental mission: Service to All Mankind. Additionally, we do all of this while continuing to promote and uplift sisterhood and friendship in the grand style that sets women of Alpha Kappa Alpha apart from all others.
