You are invited to CELEBRATE the new semester at our Black &/or White Ball on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Johnson Commons Ballroom from  7-10 P M.  Admission includes the best party food in town along with a group lesson in CHA CHA and everyone will be a little dressy for the celebration.

Everyone is welcome! Singles, couples, all levels of dance experience, all ages are welcome.

Get a huge 30% discount by becoming a member at the door.  Fifteen dollars gets you $4 off at each monthly dance for an entire year. Single student admission is $9 for non members and $5 for members.  Others pay $8 or $12.  Partners are not needed, because we welcome happy feet at every level.

Next, we'll be holding a "Smooth Dance Workshop,” 1-5 pm, Jan. 19th.  Get ready for spring Formals, Weddings, and the Spring Break social scene.

 

Come in comfortable clothing and dance shoes to learn (or improve) your dance skills. There will be beginning & intermediate classes in Waltz, Foxtrot, & Night Club Two-Step. Professional instructors from DanceQuest, of Tupelo & Oxford, will be teaching.

 

This workshop is a special bonus that includes 3 classes for a total cost of only $10 for members!  If you are not already a member, join at the door and receive the member's discount.   Or, you may attend individual classes for $15 per class (students & non-students). This does not include membership in the Ole Miss Ballroom Dance Club.

 

Yearly membership dues: $25. Student yearly membership dues: $15  This is a great opportunity to join OMBDC and get all three classes at a deep discount!!!

 

Finally, Saturday, February 9th, 7-10 pm, we’ll celebrate our Valentine's Dance to the sounds of

Ricky Burkhead and his band!

 

At this dance you will have a chance to practice the dance moves you learned at the "Smooth Dance Workshop," as well as trying out your other dance steps. When the band is on break we will have recorded music for dancing. Refreshments.
