encouraging. Since my first meeting, I have built many strong friendships, and I know that I could count on them

consider myself very fortunate to be a part of a group that is not afraid to worship freely and really study the Word."

“When coming to Ole Miss, I was a bit fearful that I would be alone in my Christian walk. I had been looking for a Bible
study group where I could feel comfortable and be in the presence of those who shared my beliefs. The second week
of being at Ole Miss, I saw a placard announcing Chi Alpha Bible Study. Usually I do not pay attention to signs,
but this time I did. I just felt that I needed to go. As soon as I walked into the meeting I was greeted and welcomed
warmly. I knew that I had found a place to get together with other Christians to fellowship and grow. Throughout the
rest of the year I attended, and along with meeting great friends, worshiping God, and learning so much about the
word I also developed into a better Christian. Having a place to gather with fellow believers is a must for any
Christian. Chi Alpa was put into my life by God for just that reason. I am so glad I paid attention to a placard!!!”

worship that the group has together. Ever since I came to America (from Ghana) I found no love, joy, or comfort,
until I joined this wonderful family of Christ on campus. This family never discriminates between blacks and whites;
they treat every one with love and respect, and also seek the well being for every individual. Try joining this family
on campus, and your life would never be the same again.”
