8/21/2012 - Graduate Student Council Senate Elections

Elections for Graduate Student Council (GSC) Senators will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 through the “myOleMiss” interface.  One senate seat and one alternate seat will be available for each department. A list of seats is available at http://www.olemiss.edu/orgs/gsc/senate.html. GSC Senators will be required to attend committee meetings on the 2nd Monday night at 7 pm and senate sessions on the 4th Monday night at 7 pm of each month (excluding December) and be the liaison between the GSC and the graduate students in their departments.

The names of the nominees can be forwarded to gscsecretary.olemiss@gmail.com  by  5 pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2012.  Please encourage all graduate students in your department to nominate a department representative.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
