Graduate Student Copier
The graduate student copier is located on the 3rd Floor of the J.D. Williams Library in Room 300D. Please contact your department's GSC senator to obtain a copy code. If you do not know who serves as your departmental senator, visit the Senate page to contact your senator. If your department does not currently have representation on the Graduate Student Council, please send an email to Brittany Duhon, Director of Operations and Technology, to obtain a copy code. The copier service is maintained by the Graduate Student Council as a service to graduate students at The University of Mississippi. If the copier needs service for any reason (such as low toner), please send an email and we will tend to the issue as soon as possible.
Graduate Student Reading Room
On the third floor of the J.D. Williams Library there now exists a reading room for graduate students. The room, in the front of the library, overlooks the Quadrangle and provides a quiet space for University of Mississippi Graduate Students to read. Named for Charles Noyes, the recently created room provides comfortable seating and lighting with computers available. It is conveniently located right next to the Graduate Student Service Center, which houses the Graduate Student Copier.
Under the Committee on Graduate Affairs, the GSC will plan multiple opportunities for graduate students to gain valuable professional development skills like CV vs Resume creation, conference presentation skills, etc. Check the calendar and social media for updates.
Graduate Student Research Program
The Graduate Student Council (GSC) seeks grant proposals from currently enrolled graduate students in any discipline each Spring. The GSC Research Fund was established to assist ongoing or future graduate student research at The University of Mississippi. Official announcement will be sent via the Graduate School and posted in the News section and on social media.
