Social Events:

Any well-rounded woman has to know how to let her hair down and have a good time! For the KDs at Ole Miss, we work hard and then we play hard too! Each semester, when we're not raising money or planning our annual philanthropy activities, we pack our free time full of Fraternity Socials, Parent's Weekends, Formals, Date Nights, and Rebel Football games.

National Friendship Day:
"Like a beautiful flower, the layers of friendship are unfolded as time goes by and the treasure grows and becomes dear."

In every woman's life, there is one special person that holds a friendship dear to her heart. We, at Kappa Delta, feel that friendship is one of the most important things in a woman's life. Your friends are there through good and bad. They love you at your worse and run with you at your best. Kappa Delta celebrates the importance of these friendships with your mother, siblings, neighbors, sisters, or best friends. National Women's Friendship day is set aside to commemorate these friends and the memories made with them.

Swaps:    
First semester at Ole Miss, the KDs have swaps with the fraternities on campus. Every fall we start off our annual swap season with one of the greatest swaps of the season, the Rowdy Red Neck swap with the Sigma Nus. Through out the rest of the semester we have many other favorite swaps such as the Toga Swap, the 80’s swap, the Disco Swap and the Halloween Swap. We love getting dressed up in costume and having a marvelous time with our sisters and the fraternities of the University of Mississippi.

Date Parties:
Every year we host three date parties! It is a time for us to share our friendships with our sisters as well as with some of the other sororities on campus. We have the Wont You Be My Neighbor date party with our neighbor on sorority row, the Tri Deltas and we also have a Crush/Arrange a Date party with the Delta Gammas. We save the Crawfish Party for the end of the year so we can celebrate our sisterhood and eat yummy crawfish!!

Shamrock Auction:
Annually we hold a silent auction where all of our parents are invited to attend. It is a party where items are donated from many different supporting storeowner and artists. The Shamrock Auction is a time for us to enjoy our sisters and parents while raising money at the same time for a great cause.
