Undergraduate IMAGE Academic Research Program (IARP)

Goal:
To provide an invaluable experience for MAMP- IMAGE students at the University of Mississippi seeking to learn the process of research in a professional environment, develop new techniques for research, and earn money at the same time. Students spend anywhere from 7 to 14 weeks cultivating an individual research project under the guidance of an UM faculty mentor, gaining valuable experience in modern research techniques, and planning their own strategy to answer a scientific question in their area of expertise. The program would provide research experience for no more than three (3) MAMP students during fall and spring Semesters of the academic year.
