Recent warnings of terrorist attacks in the United States have caused Government agencies to tighten security and make contingency plans. The local governments, as ways to protect and prepare the general public, have stepped up emergency plans.
As part of your emergency preparation, we would like to advise you to be ready with basic items for your room or home. Where appropriate, stock them in a duffle bag, camping backpack or a large easy–to-carry container in advance.
These items are as follows:
Personal Documents
(Police, hospitals, fire, ambulance, local emergency medical service)
Local government officials issue evacuation orders when disaster threatened. Listen to radio and television reports when disaster threatens. If local officials ask you to leave, do so immediately.
Remain calm and patient
Listen to your battery-powered radio for news and instructions
Check for injuries
