• 2003 Leadership Summit:  The 2003 Leadership Summit will be held at The George Washington University in Washington, DC on July 11-13, 2003.  Only current chapter officers, advisors, and the National Leadership Council have the opportunity to attend.  For information on the Leadership Summit look on the national webpage at: http://www.nscs.org/leadership/summit.htm.
   
• NSCS Merit Award:  Each year NSCS awards the Merit Award to a select number of outstanding new members around the country. This prestigious award includes a scholarship to help defray the costs of education. Merit Award recipients are selected based on how they exemplify the three pillars of the Society: Scholarship, Leadership and Service. New members who are interested in applying for the Merit Award must do so online no later than July 1. The recipients are announced at their chapters' Induction Convocation program. If you have any questions concerning the Merit Award, please feel free to contact Barbara Prevost, Director of Chapter Relations at Prevost@nscs.org.
