"Law for People not for Profit"
Mission Statement:
The University of Mississippi Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) was established in 1989 to educate students and make them aware, as future lawyers, of the struggles facing many people in the legal system. PILF works to provide educational enrichment, create public interest consciousness, and provide opportunities for post-graduate employment. We also strive to raise money for students to work for the public interest during the summer. PILF is dedicated to increasing the awareness of students, faculty, and administrators regarding public interest issues through education and outreach.
