Eta Zeta (HZ)

The Eta Zeta Chapter was chartered on July 31, 1973 as the first black greek-letter organization at the University of Mississippi.  Those who sought the knowledge of Omega in the beginning strived for excellence in their daily struggles.  They sought to build bridges for those who would come after them and carry on the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.  The Eta Zeta Chapter was the pioneer for other black greek-letter organizations that would follow throughout the years.  The Eta Zeta Chapter is approaching it's 40th year of Service for the University of Mississippi and the City of Oxford.
