Residence Hall Association


Mission of RHA
The purposes of RHA shall be to provide and encourage programs and services for students living on campus, evaluate the needs and opinions of residence hall students, and to develop student leaders, RHA shall also be charged with reviewing and making recommendations in regard to Student Housing and Residence Life policies and procedures, and serve as a liaison between residents and the administration.

What is RHA?
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) represents the 3,500 students who live on campus. It is the governing and programming board for all 10 residence halls. The organization consists of the Executive Board, representatives for each hall, and committee members who all reside in University owned residence halls. Input from all RHA members is used to develop campus wide social, educational, and community-building events, respond to the issues and needs of on-campus students, and enhance the overall residence hall living experience.

  • Opportunity to serve as delegates to state, regional, and national leadership conferences
  • Get to know people in your residence halls and other residence halls
  • Work hand in hand with your RAs and make connections with the Housing Department staff
  • Voice issues, concerns, improvements, positive outcomes in your residence hall

Meeting place and time
We meet every Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the Stewart Hall Conference Room.
