The American College of Legal Medicine's Annual Student Writing Competitions: Each year, the American College of Legal Medicine sponsors two writing competitions: (1) the Student Writing Competition in Legal Medicine where ACLM presents a $1,000 award, The Letourneau Award, to a law student for the outstanding original paper on legal medicine and (2) the Student Writing Competition in Bioethics. The William Trickel, Jr. Memorial Writing Award: Sponsored by The Health Law Section of The Florida Bar. Paper must be on a subject in the area of federal or Florida health law.
