Unfinished Business:

Fundraising Event

Debbie Binkley gave update on pizza card fundraiser.  Pizza cards were distributed to several of the members.

Diabetes Walk

Kevin Cozart reported that he hoped to organize the walk for next year.

Newsletter Committee

Benita Whitehorn had a quote on publishing the newsletter.  Benita and Melanie will work on finding ways to print the newsletter for cheaper than the quote.  We decided that January would be the date for the first newsletter.  The newsletter will be published twice a year.

New Business:

Staff Council Committees

Exam Breakfast:

The exam breakfast will be December 9.  A sign-up sheet was passed around and several members volunteered their time.

Adopt a Basket-Johnette passed out the sheet with the items requested that will help provide families with the needed supplies for a Thanksgiving dinner.  Staff Council does not sponsor this but agreed to help promote one.

Next Meeting:  Wednesday, December 3rd at 1:30 in Bryant Hall is our Holiday Reception for the Staff Council members.  Each member was asked to bring at least one canned good for the food drive.  The canned goods will go to the food pantry.  Student Affairs is promoting the Food Drive.
