Fundraising Events
Car Wash-made $500.00. Suggestion for next year’s car wash to increase profits: Find
business, bank, or University office to match dollar for dollar what is made.
Pizza card-we will proceed with this fundraiser after the debate.
Noel Wilkin has asked that Staff Council members assist with:
1. input
2. help to get word out to campus employees not to park on campus week of debate.
3. shuttle service will be available
4. designated parking

Sisk Avenue
City football lots, etc
All Staff Council committee positions were filled.
Newsletter Update: Melanie Wadkins, Julius Minor, and Bonita Whitehorn will begin
work
on the newsletter after the debate.
Meet & Greet: Ryan thanked those who participated. Many thanks to Julius for taking
pictures and to Ryan for coordinating this project.
New Business:
Diabetes Walk-Kevin Cozart. Walk is on October 26, 2008. Registration @ 1:00 pm at the Lyceum Circle. Walk @ 2:00 pm. 5K. Walkers will get sponsors. Kevin suggests that members of Staff Council walk as a team and wear T-shirts. More details at October meeting.

Group Picture: Picture will be taken immediately after Oct 1 meeting on the back steps
of the Lyceum.
