• The university of Mississippi Thai Student Organization (TSO) was founded in Spring 1996. The organization serves as a medium through which Thai students at the University may represent Thailand in the University activities.

• The purpose of TSO is to facilitate understanding among the Thais and other university students from the States and other countries, pertaining the country, its culture and its people. TSO also provides assistance to new and current Thai students in adjusting to the University life, both academically and socially.
