Q I am flying into the Memphis International Airport. How far away is that from Ole Miss and how do I get there from the airport?
A Ole Miss and Oxford are 70 miles from the Memphis airport, and at this time we do not offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Most families rent a car and drive down. If your student is coming alone, often other families willing to give students a ride. However, we do not coordinate any travel arrangements for students. There are some private shuttle companies in Oxford that will transport students to and from the airport for a fee.

Q Where do I stay while I am in Oxford?
A If you are coming in for your session early, you can stay overnight on campus for a nominal fee of $20 for the night. However, if you choose to stay off campus, the following are our preferred Ole Miss and Oxford lodging accommodations. Information on other places to stay in the Oxford area can be found on the Chamber of Commerce Web site.

Please remember that there is no overnight housing available for the January or August orientation session.
