Parents Council
The Ole Miss Parents Council provides opportunities for parents to support the programs and events that enhance their student's experience while also strengthening Ole Miss. Ole Miss Parents Council members participate in the exchange of ideas and information about the university with key administrators and faculty as well as serve as a fundraising adviser.
We respectfully ask that Parents Council members
- Make an annual gift to the Parents Leadership Circle
- Serve a one-year renewable term
- Attend at least one of two annual council meetings
- Help educate fellow parents about the importance of supporting Ole Miss
- Attend and/or host regional gatherings such as Summer Send-Offs, which give students a chance to establish connections with other Ole Miss students from their hometowns
- Build relationships with other Ole Miss parents and alumni in your community
- Help identify potential volunteers and donors
