SUMMER SENDOFFS
Summer Sendoffs are a great way to meet parents of other Ole Miss students in your area while having a grand going-away party for your student. Simply provide a location and refreshments, and the Office of Enrollment Services handles the rest.
Summer Sendoffs are business casual social events at a parent's home in the host city. The university invites all parents of UM undergraduate students to attend the event and provides logistical support. The events usually last about two hours, take place in the early evening, offer heavy hors d'oeuvres and feature two speakers from the university.
