Bethany Brumley

Biography

Bethany Brumley, PhD, is an assistant professor of accounting at The University of Mississippi’s Patterson School of Accountancy. She earned her PhD from the University of Illinois. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan University and her master’s degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee. She also has over ten years of work experience in auditing. Bethany’s research examines the effect of auditing on the decisions of managers, investors, and other stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
