Brady C. Shanklin is an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Mississippi.
Research Interests
Biography
Dr. Shanklin earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the University of Georgia. His research examines how employees respond to challenges and setbacks at work and how these processes influence individual well-being and interpersonal dynamics. He focuses on resilience, stress, and coping, as well as the role of purpose, meaning, and values in shaping motivations and behavior in organizations. He has published his research in leading academic journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Journal of Management, and Personnel Psychology. He won the 2025 and 2026 Junior Faculty Research Award, as well as the2026 Outstanding Publication of the Year Award from the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi.
Dr. Shanklin teaches undergraduate management courses, where he is committed to providing impactful learning experiences for future managers. He takes a student-centric approach, emphasizing active learning, critical thinking, and the practical application of management concepts.
