Burhanettin Keskin

Biography

Burhanettin Keskin received his B.A in Sociology from Ataturk University in his hometown of Erzurum, Türkiye in 1997. Upon his graduation, he received a full scholarship from the Turkish Ministry of Education to study abroad. He received his M.A. degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Special Education from the University of Colorado-Denver in 2001.

He received his PhD in Early Childhood Education at Florida State University in 2005. After his graduation, he moved back to his hometown and worked as an assistant professor of Early Childhood Education at Ataturk University. He taught at Columbus State University between 2009-2013. He is currently a professor of early childhood education at the University of Mississippi. His research interests are trends and the use of theory in child studies.
