UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Chris Simmons is an Assistant Professor of Social Work. Dr. Simmons received his M.S.W. from Louisiana State University in 1997 his Ph.D. from the University of South Florida in 2008. Before coming to the University of Mississippi, he was an Instructor of Social Work at the University of South Florida. His areas of interests are clinical supervision, cognitive development, and multicultural counseling.
