Biography

Josh joined the faculty of the Patterson School of Accountancy in 2022 after serving for three years as an Instructor and an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Central Arkansas. While earning his Ph.D. in Accountancy at Ole Miss, Josh won the Patterson School's Doctoral Teaching Award in 2018 and the University's Graduate Instructor Excellence in Teaching Award in 2019. Prior to his doctoral studies, Josh earned undergraduate accounting and Master of Business Administration degrees from Tennessee Tech University, and he worked in tax at FMC CPAs, PLLC (Nashville, TN) and Community Health Systems (Franklin, TN). Josh is a CPA (TN), and he is a member of the American Accounting Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
