Brief Bio
Debra A. Riley-Huff is the Head of Web Services and Associate Professor at the University of Mississippi Libraries. She has previously served as Technology Coordinator at the University of Kansas Libraries. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual) from Kansas State University an MLS in Library and Information Science and an MS in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University. She is has authored and presented on several aspects of Web development for academic libraries. She provides Web design and development for an array of digital library projects as well as management for the University Libraries Web presence. Her research interests are Semantic Web technologies and uses, Open Source/Open Access, and societal uses of misinformation, propaganda and censorship on the internet.
