UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES


The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Shirley Wimbish Gray is Instructor of Writing and Rhetoric. She received her MA Arkansas at Little Rock and taught freshman composition and technical writing a years. She then joined the faculty and administrative staff at the University o Sciences (UAMS). There she taught scientific writing at the graduate level and in writing grants to NIH, NSF, and other extramural funding as well as preparin publication. In 2002, she became the Director of Administration at the Winthrop Institute with responsibility for facilitating research across the spectrum of and directing operations for the Institute.
