Schedule a Presentation

The Office of Health Promotion is available to assist you in designing and presenting a variety of classroom presentations, workshops, or Greek house/residence hall programs to meet your programming needs.  No need to cancel a class again – schedule an educator to visit instead!

Common presentation topic areas include:

    • Helping a friend
    • Harm Reduction
  • Sexual Health & Safer Sex

    • Designed for men and/or women
  • Relaxation, Coping, and Stress Management Tips (Counseling Center also has programs)
  • Healthy Eating, Fitness & Nutrition
  • Disease Prevention
    • Hand washing during cold/flu season
    • Breast/Skin/Testicular self exams
    • Heart health
  • Holiday/Spring Break Survival
  • General Wellness, Men’s Health, Women’s Health

When scheduling, please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Requested topic area
  • Several possible dates and times for the presentation
  • Location for presentation
  • Audience type (i.e., residence hall, academic class, student organization, etc.)
  • Gender of audience (i.e., male, female, mixed)
  • Whether presentation is mandatory or voluntary
  • The number of people you expect to attend
  • The preferred length of the presentation
  • Phone number and email where you can be reached
  • Any comments or special considerations

NOTE: Depending on the time of the semester and the volume of requests we have, we will try but may not be able to provide a last minute program. The more notice you give us for a presentation, the more likely we will be able to fulfill your request.
