It’s called the Silent Killer because half of all victims of heart attack and stroke have no warning. But, in as little as 10 minutes you can determine if you are at risk for heart attack, stroke or aneurysm with state-of-the- art ultrasound screening. The University of Mississippi has invited SafeHeart Health Screen to be at the HR Training Room in the Paul B. Johnson Commons East on March 12, 2009, where they will offer 5 heart attack, stroke and aneurysm screens. These screens are painless, all 5 only take 10 minutes, and they require no disrobing. They can also detect problems even before symptoms appear. Normally, all 5 screens cost $129, but they will be offered to all University of Mississippi employees AND spouses for only $109.
The 5 Screens being offered are
Carotid Artery Ultrasound Screen
Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT) Screen
Abdominal Aortic Aneruysm Screen
Peripheral Vascular Disease Screen
Atrial Fibrilation Screen
*All tests are interpreted by Board Certified, MS Licensed, Vascular Physicians
*Results are received within 14 days of testing
